The Chinese historical drama Brocade Odyssey, starring Tan Song Yun, Zheng Ye Cheng, Jing Chao, and Chen Xiao Yun, among others, has confirmed its release date for November 30. 

As for Tan Song Yun, we saw her last in her drama which aired a while ago. 

As for Zheng Ye Cheng himself, it has been a long time since his last drama in 2023, namely Desire Catcher.

let's move on to the synopsis.

     Adapted from Zhuang Zhuang's novel "Shu Brocade Family," Brocade Odyssey follows Ji Ying Ying, a young lady from the Huanhua Dyeing Workshop in Yizhou, entrusted with the family's secret dyeing formula during a critical time. The story portrays her efforts to bring the Shu (an ancient Chinese Kingdom) brocade to the Silk Road. Despite facing threats, Ji Ying Ying remains unwavering and resolute in her efforts. Later, she spreads the unique weaving and dyeing techniques of Shu brocade overseas.

The Ji family of Yizhou produces the coveted "Shu Red Silk," a treasure so rare it earned the saying, "In front of Shu Red, all other reds lose color."

Ji Ying Ying (Tan Song Yun), the young daughter of the Ji family, was gifted with intelligence and a passion for silk dyeing. Her talents gradually began to shine.

Yang Jing Lan (Zheng Ye Cheng), the son of the prestigious Yang family, returns after years of studying abroad, bearing the title of Jin Guan (Brocade Officer). Though dismissed as a "short-lived official" in a token position, this seemingly frivolous young master lies low, maneuvering carefully to uncover the truth behind an unsolved mystery from years ago.

Meanwhile, Ji Ying Ying's exceptional dyeing techniques earn her widespread fame in Shu, drawing the attention of Cheng Feng Ze, the White King of Nanzhao, who has long coveted the secret methods of the local brocade families.

As Nanzhao's encroachment intensifies, Yizhou faces turbulent times. Ji Ying Ying courageously steps forward, risking her life to protect the artisans under her care. Meanwhile, Yang Jing Lan ventures into Nanzhao, joining forces with Ying Ying to negotiate with their enemy. Together, they revive the brocade industry and leave behind a legendary tale of Shu brocade.

Jing Chao plays Cheng Feng Ze, the son of the former king of Nanzhao. He was born to a lowly weaver woman abducted from Yizhou. This lineage doomed him to be ineligible for the throne. Growing up under Nanzhao's brutal ethos, Cheng Feng Ze developed a cruel character. He abhors weaknesses and relies on strategic acumen to achieve his goals.

do you know them?? okay.. because if you don't know then you don't love, let's get to know the main actors and actresses of this drama

we start with the beautiful actress Cha Joo Young who will play Queen Wongyeong here.

Surely all Korean drama fans have watched "The Glory", Cha Joo Young here plays Choi Hye Jeong who is crazy about Jeon Jae Joon and very jealous of Park Yeon Jin.

her satisfying acting makes the audience carried away by her acting flow..

Hwang Min-hyun or better known as Min-hyun is a member of the idol group NU'EST who participated in the second season of produce 101 and became a member of the boy group Wanna One.

when Wanna One officially disbanded in 2019, Min-hyun began to explore the world of acting and his talent immediately received a positive reaction, through the drama "Alchemy of Souls" which catapulted his name,

Hwang Min-hyun then returned to get the main role with the famous star Kim Soo Hyun in "My Lovely Liar"

Currently Min-Hyun is undergoing military service and will complete his duties in early 2025.

The drama "Study Group" is a Teen drama adapted from the famous Web Comic by Shin Hyeong Woon which was first published through Naver on January 5, 2019.
